Workshops and lessons
Short and long-term art courses: sculpture, drawing, and oil painting
Our three-month program provides a solid foundation in each of the chosen disciplines, focusing on developing foundational skills. To understand the complexities of form in space, each lesson focuses on using observation and structural knowledge to develop judgment and visual accuracy. Each three-month program is divided into sculpture and drawing lessons, as well as painting and drawing lessons.
Drawing is considered a fundamental skill for both sculptors and painters; once students are able to achieve accurate two-dimensional rendering in pencil and/or charcoal, they can apply this knowledge to the more complex task of observing and rendering a sculpture or painting with its multiple three-dimensional viewpoints.
Our long-term courses run daily from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, students will receive support from a teacher and a live tutor, according to the trimester schedule.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, students will be able to use the classroom to continue their work independently without a live model or teacher.
All sessions can accommodate a maximum of 3 students.
The sculpture and painting programs are independent of the drawing program. It is highly recommended to also take the drawing program.
All our programs are customizable.
Cost per quarter (SCULPTURE) from €3100 (materials and cost of the model excluded);
Cost per quarter (PAINTING) from €3200 (materials and cost for the model excluded);
Cost per quarter (DRAWING) from €3100 (materials and cost for the model excluded).
Quarterly example:
30 SCULPTURE SESSIONS
Each session lasts 3 hours.
The student sculpts anatomical details (a skull) and a portrait by observing a plaster reference and a live model.
You will be assisted by the teacher throughout the lesson.
30 painting sessions
Each session lasts 3 hours, where the student prepares to construct the portrait, starting from the pictorial drawing to grisaille, up to the color work with the life model.
15 DRAWING SESSIONS
Each session lasts 3 hours.
Study of the "BARGUE DRAWING" technique in which the student will practice drawing in pencil and charcoal. Generally, plaster portraits and sculptures of a human figure are observed.
15 DRAWING SESSIONS

Online lessons
Geko Art Studio in Florence offers an exciting opportunity for those who wish to deepen their artistic skills through online courses and lessons in sculpture and drawing. The two-hour lessons are personalized and tailored to each student's goals and interests. A free preliminary meeting is also available to define the details and establish a personalized learning plan. If someone else is interested in painting, lessons are available upon request. This individualized approach allows for personalized attention and effective artistic development.
Cost: €25/h
anatomical sculpture
The goal of these lessons is to create a statue approximately 40 centimeters tall using professional-grade plasticine. We begin by creating an internal support structure to model a full-length human figure in a classical pose. Human body proportions and anatomy will be studied to sculpt a more realistic representation.
Materials: wooden and aluminum/iron support, pins, plasticine and modeling tools.
academic drawing
The lessons are divided into three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced.
The goal of these lessons is to develop a foundation for drawing, starting with observation and a knowledge of human anatomy. We will create a full-length figure in a classical pose, following traditional artistic techniques. By following the shapes and observing the figure, students develop the importance of line language to create chiaroscuro and highlight shapes, concluding with the definition of light and shadow through layering and different shapes.
Art Summer Workshop
Courses for children and teenagers (6–14 years)
An artistic experience designed for those who want to go beyond simply “doing” and enter the creative process.
This is not a summer camp, but a closed-entry workshop, where each participant is guided in the creation of a work through drawing, painting, and sculpture.
THE METHOD
Work always starts from observation.
During the week, children go through the fundamental stages of artistic practice:
- image construction through drawing
- study of light and volume
- color development with tempera and watercolor
- three-dimensional translation into sculpture
Each step is part of a single journey, designed to help you understand how an image is born and how it transforms into form.
THE STRUCTURE
Each week is self-contained and also welcomes first-time participants.
The work develops progressively:
- Monday and Tuesday → observation and drawing
- Wednesday → painting
- Thursday → sculpture
- Friday → finalization and presentation of the works
The time is deliberately concentrated: three hours of continuous work (with a central break for a snack), in a cozy environment, without dispersion.
L’ATELIER
The group is limited to a maximum of 6 participants.
This allows for constant attention and a direct relationship with each student, similar to that of a one-on-one lesson.
These are not recreational activities, but a context in which doing is accompanied by a perspective, a method, and guidance.
THE PROJECTS
Each week develops around a theme, which changes over time (human figure, animals, nature, objects, imagination), but the structure remains consistent.
The goal is not to produce a lot of works, but to build a complete experience, in which each child can recognize their own path.
